We begin with our initial walk-through and evaluation, where we will discuss your goals and timeframe.  We agree on our arrangement and sign a contract.  After obtaining any permits we may need, we begin our work:

EVALUATE THE ESTATE--we determine the realistic market value of your items, calling on our network of experts as needed, and price accordingly.

  • ORGANIZE & DISPLAY--we arrange, categorize, itemize, clean as necessary and showcase your estate to maximize proceeds from the sale, providing professional display equipment, and tag each item.
  • MARKET--we photograph every item or group of items and create a detailed inventory and description for advertising on our website and mailing list, on the internet, on estate sales listings and in local newspapers.
  • CONDUCT THE SALE--we hold a 2- or 3-day event, depending on the size of your estate, with trained, knowledgeable and courteous staff; we place professionally printed directional signage throughout the area on the days of the sale, as well as safety signs indoor and out; we accept cash, Visa and MasterCard; we treat your belongings and property with respect.
  • PAYMENT--will be issued, minus our commission, within 2 business days of close of sale, including detailed inventory list, sales receipts and list of remnants.

At conclusion of the sale, we will leave your property broom-swept clean.  Our aim is wall-to-wall sales, but we can provide you with options for disposition of any remaining contents:  donation to the charity of your choice, consignment to appropriate vendors, moving to a storage facility or arranging for disposal.

Barbara and Susan handled a complex Estate Sale for my Mother after the death of her husband.  They were compassionate, sensitive and highly competent.  Since my Mother and her husband were artists of some notoriety, this was not your usual Estate Sale!  They brought their considerable knowledge and wisdom to effect an extremely successful Estate Sale.  I would not hesitate to use them again.      Candice P.
